PILO Impact of The Jika Imfundo Interventions on Circuit Management Work Survey Report
The report gives an account of the impact of the Jika iMfundo interventions on Circuit Management work in KwaZulu Natal. The report gives a consolidated view on how Circuit Managers across all the 12 KZN districts progressed in their adoption , application, and use of curriculum management practices as well as the challenges and limitations they face in practice.
PILO Impact of District Leadership Training Sessions Survey Report
PILO conducted leadership training sessions to support leadership at various levels in KwaZulu Natal (KZN) education districts on curriculum leadership and management. The sessions were attended by officials from various directorates across all 12 districts, mostly members of the Management Committees (Manco). A total of 142 district leaders across were surveyed to assess the impact of district leadership training sessions in improving their practices. This leadership report gives more details on findings of the survey, including the possible achievements and areas of concern.
PILO Adoption of Key Curriculum Management Practices Survey Report
The schools’ surveys report provides an overview of the feedback from the internal surveys conducted by PILO in KwaZulu Natal (KZN) schools between November 2021 and November 2023. The surveys were repeated annually in an average of 90 schools across the 12 districts with the aim of assessing the extent to which school management teams (SMTs) and teachers have adopted the Jika iMfundo key curriculum management practice. The report gives insights on the overall gains and challenges made by the Jika iMfundo intervention as well some proposals for the way forward.
